"My goodness I am so glad I found this website! I have been a CLT since 2005 and have yet to find any actual appropriate education to address lipedema - I am hoping for further education opportunities!"

~Danielle R.

"Through you and all the others I have met along the way, I am in a much better place. I am grateful for all of you and will continue to follow you as much as I can."

~Melody K.

"Thank you. I am 55 and been living with lipedema from about age 14. Only in August 2020 heard about lipedema. An answer at last why I do not lose weight in certain areas. Understanding my body now do help. Difficult to find doctors in South Africa that know about lipedema. So thank you again for all your hard work and teaching us. Much appreciated!"

~Riekie V.

About the Citizen Science Project (Overview)

Please note: This is a separate, multi-week program. Attending the free webinar does not enroll you in the project.

Quality of Life Yoga for Lipedema: A Citizen Science Project is a thoughtfully designed mind–body program created for individuals with lipedema, lymphedema, or both.

The project explores how gentle chair yoga, breathing practices, and guided meditation may support improvements in key quality-of-life areas, including mental health, pain, sleep, and mobility. In addition to guided sessions, participants contribute to a growing body of shared knowledge through self-report surveys.

Participation involves a 8-week commitment (February 1 - March 26, 2026), including orientation, a 6-week guided program with live and recorded sessions, and an exit meeting. The project is structured, supportive, and focused on accessibility, safety, and compassionate self-care.

Eligibility, safety considerations, time commitment, and next steps for applying will be fully explained during the webinar.
