Nora Carr, a Boston native and breast surgical oncology nurse practitioner, was diagnosed with stage 3 lipedema in 2019. After navigating conservative treatments, she successfully secured insurance coverage for five lipedema removal surgeries. Outside of her work, she enjoys time with her husband and their dog Poirot, knitting, rock climbing, and Solidcore classes.
