Meet our Speakers

Catherine Seo, PhD

 

Catherine is the Founder & Director of Lipedema Simplified & The Lipedema Project and a professor of psychology.

She produced and directed the documentary, The Disease They Call FAT, and was a co-author of the book, Lipedema-The Disease They Call FAT: An Overview for Clinicians. She holds a doctorate in Psychology with a concentration in Media.

She has developed online courses on lipedema for patients and healthcare professionals as well as multi-media learning tools since 2013 and is the Director of the MasterClass Program, courses and webinars.

Leslyn Keith, OTD, CLT-LANA

 

Dr. Keith is Director of Research and Board President for The Lipedema Project and an instructor in lymphedema therapy for Klose Training and Consulting.

She is a certified lymphedema therapist and has treated lymphatic and fat disorders for over 20 years.

Currently, she researches, consults, and lectures on lymphedema, lipedema, and obesity nationally and internationally.

Gail Straker, BA Ed

 

Gail is the Community Manager as well as Director of Coaching for Lipedema Simplified. She is also a Certified Advisor through The Noakes Foundation, and The Nutrition Network.

Siobhan Huggins

 

Siobhan is a Research Specialist for Lipedema Project.

She has done a great deal of research herself over the past several years, including several experiments, utilizing high frequency testing, that have helped to clarify the dynamic nature of the lipid system and how it can be impacted by changes in metabolism.
