What if your gut is influencing far more than digestion?
If you live with lipedema, lymphedema, obesity, metabolic dysfunction, or another chronic condition, you may have spent years focusing on inflammation, nutrition, weight, hormones, movement, or lymphatic health.
But there may be another important piece to consider:
Your gut.
Join Dr. Brian Lenzkes, MD, for an engaging look at the connection between the gut microbiome, gut barrier, immune system, metabolism, and cellular energy — and discover where mitochondrial health fits into this bigger picture.
What You’ll Learn
✔ How the gut microbiome influences digestion, immunity, metabolism, and overall health
✔ Why the gut barrier matters and how intestinal permeability may contribute to inflammation and systemic health challenges
✔ How gut health, immune signaling, metabolic dysfunction, and chronic inflammation may intersect
✔ What the gut-brain connection can tell us about mood, stress, neurotransmitters, and well-being
✔ Why short-chain fatty acids, including acetate, propionate, and butyrate, are important for gut barrier function, immune regulation, metabolism, and cellular health
✔ How the gut and metabolic environment may influence mitochondrial health and cellular energy production
✔ Most importantly, practical ways you can support a healthier gut
"My goodness I am so glad I found this website! I have been a CLT since 2005 and have yet to find any actual appropriate education to address lipedema - I am hoping for further education opportunities!"
~Danielle R.
"Through you and all the others I have met along the way, I am in a much better place. I am grateful for all of you and will continue to follow you as much as I can."
~Melody K.
"Thank you. I am 55 and been living with lipedema from about age 14. Only in August 2020 heard about lipedema. An answer at last why I do not lose weight in certain areas. Understanding my body now do help. Difficult to find doctors in South Africa that know about lipedema. So thank you again for all your hard work and teaching us. Much appreciated!"
